If you're reading this, you're probably about to listen to an EP called Good Luck and Games. We hope you like it as much as we do. This is The Dig.

The band has played together in one incarnation or another since they were twelve years old, and in 2006 they released their acclaimed debut LP, Quiet Parade (hailed in State of Mind as "a remarkable and brilliant debut"). In the summer of 2007, The Dig entered Brooklyn's Trout Recording Studios with producer Bryce Goggin (Sean Lennon, Pavement, Ramones). The band knew it was time to put together an album that captured their sound in its most honest state.

The result is Good Luck and Games, a six-song EP incorporating heartfelt melodies and influences dating back to the roots of American rock. It is the music that members David, Emile, and Erick have strived to make for years; with the addition of new permanent drummer Nick and their relocation to New York City, everything fell into place. And The Dig are just getting started...

Good Luck and Games is scheduled for release on Tuesday, December 18, 2007. The Dig's creative momentum combined with a consistently fist-pumping live show is sure to make 2008 a significant year for The Dig. They will be on the road in support of the release, so keep an eye out! Enjoy!
