Griefs Tour Flyer (PDF)

The Griefs are a garage/psychedelic act out of Cincinnati, Ohio. The band have toured all over the world and are bringing their furious sound up and down the East Coast this Fall, touring behind their most recent LP, Throwing A Tempo Tantrum. The Griefs are lead by Eric Stein, former lead guitarist of The Greenhornes (what's more, you may remember Stein from his work with Holly Golightly, who also frequently shares the bill with The Griefs). Rock and Roll and Meandering Nonsense said, "The Griefs channel the Who's manic drums, big power chords and brutal loudness in a catchy package. It kinda makes you wanna hum along and bounce off the walls at the same time!"

Saki Records says of The Griefs: "If the Kinks were born in Kentucky, raised by the Everly Brothers & grew up on a steady diet of Cinci's King records, you'd have the Griefs!"
